The Grand Prix for the food industry was awarded to Compagnie Léa Nature

Compagnie Léa Nature, represented by Charles Kloboukoff, President and Founder, received the EY 2021 Grand Prix for the agro-food sector.

Members of the jury rewarded the company based on the following criteria.

 

Considering the current social and economic crisis in the aftermath of Covid-19, the members of the jury also wanted to reward and valorize companies that embody the future of the French food industry.

“I am very honored to receive this Grand Prix and I want to thank all our staff members. This prize also rewards the pioneering companies of the organic industry.
It recognizes the risk we took by investing €100 million in organic production tools as well as the support we bring to the development of organic and locally-based industries.

The selection criteria for the Award

The 2021 EY Agribusiness Awards were based on the following 4 selection criteria:

  1. Strategic response to the Covid-19 pandemic
  2. Superior performance in the industry
  3. Employment
  4. CSR

There were 20 nominees and 4 winners for this edition of the awards.

What awards were given in 2021?

This year, 4 awards were given by the jury:

  • The Grand Prix for agribusiness, honoring a company with an exceptional track record and demonstrated resilience during the Covid-19 crisis;
  • The Avenir Prize, recognizing the rapid growth and know-how of a small or medium enterprise;
  • The Social Commitment Award, recognizing a strong commitment to social and environmental issues;
  • The Outstanding Performance Award, honoring a large company for its successful track record and long-standing leadership in its industry.
