The Grand Prix for the food industry was awarded to Compagnie Léa Nature
Compagnie Léa Nature, represented by Charles Kloboukoff, President and Founder, received the EY 2021 Grand Prix for the agro-food sector.
Members of the jury rewarded the company based on the following criteria.
- The exceptional journey of the company as the pioneer of the organic industry in France since 1993.
- Sustained growth combined with an unprecedented external development policy based on the organizational concept of a “village of companies”.
- The creation of over 1000 jobs in France between 2010-2020.
- An exemplary CSR policy further strengthened by the change of status of the historical company, Léa Nature, to that of “company with a mission”.
- The preserved independence of Charles Kloboukoff, who holds over 80% of the capital.
- A €100M industrial investment strategy that has resulted in the acquisition of 7 new organic manufacturing plants between 2017-2020.
Considering the current social and economic crisis in the aftermath of Covid-19, the members of the jury also wanted to reward and valorize companies that embody the future of the French food industry.
